Overview

In a strategic move to strengthen its tech and product capabilities, Snabbit, a fast-growing quick services startup, has relocated its headquarters from Mumbai to Bengaluru’s Koramangala, one of India’s most vibrant startup hubs. The relocation marks a significant milestone for the company as it aims to leverage Bengaluru’s vast pool of technology talent and proximity to venture capital (VC) networks.

 New Office Location

Snabbit, which previously operated out of Powai, Mumbai, has now set up a 10,000 sq. ft. managed office space in Koramangala’s 5th Block — a location that has long been considered the heart of India’s startup ecosystem.

Over the years, Koramangala has nurtured some of India’s biggest tech success stories including Flipkart, Swiggy, and Groww, which all began operations in the same locality before scaling nationwide.

 Why Bengaluru?

Snabbit’s decision to move aligns with a growing trend among Indian startups opting for Bengaluru as their base for innovation and growth.

Despite ongoing infrastructure challenges and traffic concerns in the city, Bengaluru continues to attract founders due to its:

  • Deep tech and product talent pool

  • Proximity to top venture capital firms

  • Mature startup ecosystem

“Mumbai is a great place with plenty of hustlers, but it doesn’t have the product and tech talent needed to hyperscale,” said a startup founder.
“If you want to build a new-age company, Bengaluru is where the capital, the ecosystem, and the consumers are.”

Startups That Have Made the Shift

Snabbit isn’t the first to make the move from Mumbai to Bengaluru. Some of the notable startups that previously relocated include:

  • Ola – among the earliest to shift its base to Bengaluru

  • Zepto – another quick commerce unicorn where Snabbit’s founder, Aayush Agarwal, previously worked

The trend reflects Bengaluru’s dominance as India’s innovation capital, attracting talent, investors, and founders alike.

 Funding and Future Plans

Founded in 2024, Snabbit has already raised over ₹220 crore from marquee investors including Elevation Capital, Lightspeed, and Nexus Venture Partners.

The company is reportedly preparing for its next funding round, with sources indicating that being closer to VC firms in Bengaluru will accelerate investor interactions and enhance brand visibility in the startup ecosystem.

 About Snabbit

Snabbit operates in the quick services space, offering trained personnel within 10 minutes for everyday home tasks such as:

  • General cleaning

  • Dishwashing

  • Laundry

  • And other household chores

It competes with:

  • Urban Company

  • Pronto (backed by General Catalyst)

  • Pync (backed by Accel)

With the rapid rise of urban households seeking on-demand help, Snabbit is positioning itself as the “10-minute home services” solution for India’s growing urban population.

 The Bigger Picture

Snabbit’s relocation underscores a larger trend — Bengaluru’s continued dominance as India’s startup nerve center, even amid rising concerns over infrastructure. For startups focused on scaling rapidly, the city remains an unbeatable destination for talent, capital, and community.

As Snabbit strengthens its base in Koramangala, all eyes are on how the startup will leverage this move to expand faster, attract top engineers, and cement its position as a market leader in the quick services category.
