OYO has unveiled its newest campaign film, 'Kya Baat Kar Rahe Ho', spotlighting its premium, company-serviced hotels. This initiative aims to enhance the guest experience through innovative features like Quick Check-in on the OYO app. To simplify the process of finding and booking these upscale properties, OYO has also introduced a new tag on its app.
The campaign, developed in collaboration with the creative agency Moonshot—founded by Tanmay Bhat and Devaiah Bopanna—seeks to modernize public perceptions and demonstrate OYO's commitment to offering premium travel experiences for all kinds of travelers, including families, friends, and solo adventurers. Written by Tanmay Bhat, Devaiah Bopanna, Puneet Chadha, and Deep Joshi, and directed by Rahul Bharti, the film was produced by Sun City Studios.
The narrative begins with a young couple, Sunita and Rishabh, dining with Sunita's parents and grandmother. When Sunita announces their weekend booking at an OYO, her parents react with humorous shock, alluding to OYO's past reputation as a "couples hotel." The story progresses as Rishabh invites the entire family, who are then shown marveling at the premium services and elegant surroundings of a luxurious OYO hotel lobby.
This campaign effectively counters outdated views of OYO, emphasizing its versatility. Whether for family vacations, weekend trips with friends, study sessions, personal time, or parties, OYO now provides premium experiences for every traveler type.
Ritesh Agarwal, Founder & CEO of OYO, stated, "We are excited to present our revamped company-serviced hotels. Our goal is to deliver a premium, reliable, and enjoyable stay for all travelers. This campaign underscores our dedication to changing perceptions and exceeding expectations."
Devaiah Bopanna, Co-Founder of Moonshot, added, "Working on this campaign was a fantastic experience. We aimed to capture the surprise and delight of discovering the new OYO, and I believe we have succeeded. The new OYO has something for everyone, and I hope this film communicates that effectively."
