Barbeque Nation got IPO approval from SEBI

IPO News On 13.07.2020 Barbeque Nation got approval from SEBI for IPO. Now they have to bring an IPO within one year from this approval date. Barbeque Nation Barbeque Nation owns and operates one of India's leading casual dining restaurant chains according to the Technopak Report. The first Barbeque Nation Restaurant was launched in 2005 by Sayaji Hotels, one of their promoters. From the inception, they have steadily grown their owned and operated Barbeque Nation Restaurant network from a single restaurant in Fiscal 2007 to 147th outlet in India and 154th internationally as in 2020. Valuations In 2018, when Rakesh Jhunjhunwala invested 90 cr in the company at that time it was valued around 2300-2400 cr. As per the balance sheet of 2018-19, they have ~2.80 cr shares. So, if we take a valuation of 2300 cr, then per share price comes out to be 821-857. Moreover, as per yesterday news published in Mint, “The IPO comprises a fresh issue of shares worth Rs 275 crore and an offer-for-sale of up to 98,22,947 equity shares, according to the draft papers filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).” If we remove the fresh issue part of 275 cr from the lower end of 1000 cr, then the value per share would be 720 per share. And at the upper end of 1200 cr, then value per share would be 943. UnlistedZone View As Covid-19 has made the situation bad especially for the hotel and restaurant sector, the IPO will not come at least in the next 6 months. They will probably time the IPO when the hotel and restaurant sector starts functioning. The IPO price would be in the range of 800-900. How do you find the share price of an unlisted company?

How do you find the share price of an unlisted company?

To check the price of listed stocks, we have the options of NSE (National Stock Exchange) and Bombay Stock Exchange to fetch the latest prices on a daily basis.

However, when it comes to unlisted shares the tracking sometimes becomes difficult. The investors who are investing in the unlisted shares don’t have the facility to check the share price or to keep track of the price of the unlisted companies on a daily basis. It is very difficult for the investors to track the price as the unlisted shares are always shown at face value in the depository’s application (NSDL or CDSL) or in stock broker’s application.

So, what is the solution? How can someone check the daily movement in the prices?

The answer is a platform like UnlistedZone.

UnlistedZone displays the current market price of an unlisted stock on their websites for all the unlisted stocks available for investment. In case the price is not available at the website same can be obtained from UnlistedZone by simply dropping an email. UnlistedZone is also in the process to develop an application where investors can get, the latest prices on a daily basis, the value of the portfolio, etc on the website itself. A separate login option will be given to each and every investor to check the same.

Why tracking of Price is important?

As we say, price always adds a spice in the investment. So if we have a system or application to check the price movement and its overall impact on the portfolio of the unlisted companies on a daily basis then it can prove to be beneficial for the investor to make a judgment on entry and exit from the unlisted stock.

Generally, due to low liquidity in the unlisted market, the volatility in the price is usually less than its other counterpart i.e. listed space. The movement in the price of an unlisted company happens whenever it announces Qtr. or Annual Results, any investment by PE/VC funds, or any acquisition that can prove to be beneficial for the business perspective in the long run. So we can say, apart from liquidity factor, the movement in the unlisted share or company happens in a similar fashion as that of listed space.

Knowing the price of unlisted shares helps investors to check the ROI (Return on Investment) they have generated over the period of time. Knowing ROI from unlisted shares give investors the option to compare their portfolio performance in listed and unlisted space. After that, the investors can take wise decisions as to where the maximum returns are generated and accordingly, the specific allocation in the portfolio can be done.

Some of the best shares available at the platform along with prices are mentioned below.

HDB Financial Unlisted Share Price = 780 per share

Paytm Price Unlisted Share Price = 11000 per share

Hero-Fin Corp Unlisted Share Price = 850 per share

Nazara Tech Unlisted Share Price = 540 per share

Studds Accessories Unlisted Share Price = 750 per share

Barbeque Nation Unlisted Share Price = 785 per share.

Reliance Retail Unlisted Share Price = 1200 per share

Indofil Industries Unlisted Share Price = 750 per share

MSEI Unlisted Share Price = 1.25 per share

CSK Unlisted Share Price = 35 per share.

Latest Price movement in Unlisted Shares To check the daily price movement in unlisted shares, the annual results updates, news updates in the unlisted market, and all the happenings in the unlisted market, the investors can visit and bookmark www.unlistedzone.com

Analysis of FY19-20 performance of Tata Technology Unlisted Shares - 02.07.2020

Tata Group Company, Tata Technologies is a global leader in engineering services outsourcing and product development IT services to the global manufacturing industry; enabling ambitious manufacturing companies to design and build better products. Tata Technology is the company of innovators, specialists in the design engineering space, which applies cutting-edge technology to provide a competitive advantage to customers in the manufacturing sector. Tata Technologies is headquartered in Singapore, with regional headquarters in the United States (Novi, Michigan), India (Pune) and the UK (Warwick) with a combined global workforce of more than 8,500 employees serving clients worldwide from facilities in North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. Yesterday, they have provided an Annual Report for the FY19-20 to all the shareholders. UnlistedZone.com being the shareholder also gets one. Let us analyze how Tata Technology has performed in FY19-20. FY19-20 Business Analysis 1. FY19-20 was quite challenging for Tata Technology. Falling vehicle sales and push towards ACES( Autonomous, Connected, and Electric Shared) has pushed clients of Tata Technology to reduce costs. We know 80% of Tata Technology revenue comes from the global automotive sector, the problem in that sector has impacted the overall growth of the company. 2. However, despite the problems, Tata Technology has earned a revenue of 2852 Cr in FY20, a tad lower as compared to last year where they earned 2984 Cr. The company has made operating margins of 16% in FY20. EPS of FY19-20 stands at 60 per share. 3. As per management commentary, Tata Technology has seen revenue growth of 4.4% and operating profit growth of 32% QoQ basis in the last quarter of FY20. This has achieved due to the operational efficiency program that resulted in saving ~100 Cr in FY19-20. 4. In FY19-20, Tata Technology has participated in the Electric Vehicle event in China to showcase its product called EVMV( Electric Vehicle Modular Platform). This product helps OEMs of EV to reduce costs in manufacturing. 5. Tata Technology partners with PTC to provide smart manufacturing and digital solutions to manufacturing industries worldwide. So they are focussing more revenue contributions from the digital segment going forward. Future Planning 1. Tata Technology is looking to align its business portfolio with new markets and opportunities. They are doing investment in embedded electronics, digital, and software segments. 2. Last year they build the project called Autostar (Automotive Open System Architecture) for a major tier-1 automotive supplier. 20% of service business revenue comes from Digital now. 3. Tata Technology is looking to diversify its client base to grow in adverse situations. In FY19-20, the company has shown strong growth in North-America and India, however, over-dependence upon the automotive sector, especially specific clients in UK, Sweden, and China has impacted the business. Last 5 years Financial Performance of Tata Technology
<table style="border-collapse: collapse;
