The recently launched transit accommodation facility, 0484 Aero Lounge, at Kochi Airport has witnessed remarkable success within its first 100 days of operation. The lounge recorded approximately 4,000 room bookings and hosted nearly 7,000 guests, becoming a preferred choice for travellers seeking comfort and convenience.

Developed by Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL), the facility operates on the unique concept of "affordable luxury." The lounge features 41 guest rooms that can be booked in flexible time slots of 8, 12, or 24 hours at budget-friendly rates. In addition to accommodations, the lounge offers various amenities such as co-working spaces, boardrooms, conference halls, a gym, and a spa, catering to a diverse clientele.  

2. Meeting the Needs of a Varied Clientele  
Since its launch, the facility has served a mix of guests, including business travellers, NRIs, and those accompanying passengers. Many NRIs have utilized the lounge for short stays before heading out on their return journeys. The lounge’s safety and convenience, particularly for night travellers, have made it a go-to option for rest and relaxation near the airport.  

3. Multipurpose Venue for Professionals and Events 
0484 Aero Lounge has also established itself as a versatile space beyond accommodations. Corporate clients have used its boardrooms and conference halls for business meetings, eliminating the hassle of traveling into the city. Additionally, the lounge has hosted events such as pre-wedding photoshoots, small gatherings, and other functions, showcasing its potential as a dynamic venue.

Located in Terminal 2, the lounge spans 50,000 square feet and features 37 guest rooms, four luxurious suites, three boardrooms, two conference halls, a co-working area, a library, a café lounge, and a restaurant. With cafes and retail shops fully operational, the lounge is redefining airport hospitality by providing a seamless blend of comfort, style, and functionality.  

5. Part of CIAL’s Non-Aeronautical Revenue Strategy  
Inaugurated in September and operational from October, the 0484 Aero Lounge is part of CIAL’s broader initiative to boost non-aeronautical revenue streams.
