FY22: For the full fiscal year 2022, the total expenses were ₹2,018.31 crores. FY23: In FY23, the expenses increased to ₹2,608.83 crores.
3. Net Profit: Q3FY23: The net profit for the third quarter of FY23 amounted to ₹1,826.63 crores. Q4FY23: In the fourth quarter of FY23, the net profit further increased to ₹2,065.37 crores. FY22: For the full fiscal year 2022, the net profit was ₹5,194.97 crores. FY23: In FY23, the net profit grew to ₹7,354.81 crores.
4. Earnings Per Share (EPS): Q3FY23: The EPS for the third quarter of FY23 was ₹36.90. Q4FY23: In the fourth quarter of FY23, the EPS increased to ₹41.72. FY22: For the full fiscal year 2022, the EPS was ₹104.95. FY23: In FY23, the EPS further grew to ₹148.58.
5. Net Worth: FY22: The net worth of the NSE at the end of FY22 was ₹15,418.28 crores. FY23: By the end of FY23, the net worth had increased to ₹20,480.38 crores.

By the end of this year the NSE will easily clock an EPS of Rs.80 per share. With 80 as EPS, the P/E at Rs.3100 per share comes out to be 38x. The rival BSE is currently trading at P/E of 33x. NSE being the monopoly business as it commands more than 90% of the business of stock market, it will easily command P/E of 45-50.
NSE is a portfolio stock. And you can keep this stock for next 10-15 years. The valuation of new age brokers are going up day by day as new investors are joining market. Groww, Zerodha etc are all unicorns these days. There growth is directly proportional to the growth of NSE or any other exchange for that matter.
